Malaria kills hundreds of thousands of people every year, and infects hundreds of millions more. Yet, elimination of the disease is possible – in fact, it’s been achieved in 62 countries since 1960. So, what stands in the way of a world without malaria?

Worldwide elimination of malaria is an achievable goal, even if there is still a long way to go. With intelligent distribution of resources, circumvention of resistance, and forward thinking, millions of lives can be saved.
