by Work the World

As well as the comprehensive pre-departure and in-country support Work the World offer to every participant, we know how important it is to speak to you on your return and listen to your feedback.

Your feedback ensures our placements are of highest quality, enables us to be responsive and to continually improve our programmes. After your placement you will be invited to complete a feedback survey and discuss your experience with a member of our team. Every week we review and share this feedback with our staff teams around the world.

Throughout April we had some really wonderful responses and in the last year alone over 98% of our students said they would highly recommend us! As a team we've received an incredible score for pre-departure and in-country support, achieving an average of 4.98 out of 5!

I gained a lot of confidence which will help me with my future nursing career

As well as the facts and figures, we receive fantastic comments, especially about our brilliant in-country staff who make our placements such an unforgettable experience and provide a real home away from home.

"Alpha, Mark and all the team in the WTW house, we are absolutely amazing, we could not have felt more welcomed and better cared for. Alpha and Mark were so kind and helpful, nothing was ever any bother for them and if we ever needed help they were always around. Thank you Alpha, Mark, Edito, Rahema, and Nema for everything!"

"Everybody was very friendly and accommodating. In particular, Fidelis was incredibly good at his job. He was very professional, and also incredibly friendly. He would go out of his way, and his working hours to make sure that I had everything I needed. If there were things that he didnt know, he would find out and get back to me. Can't praise him enough. He definitely made my experience stress free and enjoyable!"

"Loved the village experience. The family were lovely and welcoming and Clemence our guide was amazing"

"I had the best experiences and lots of fun in this department. I gained a lot of knowledge on how mental health is cared for in Africa. I gained a lot of confidence which will help me with my future nursing career."

"Just wanted to say that all of the Nepal staff was incredibly helpful."

"Joyce was very helpful and always willing to help with my nursing studies. She was really interested in how we do things in the UK compared to Tanzania. I couldnt have asked for a better person to supervise my time at the hospital."

As well as this hugely positive feedback, we have lots of case studies and if you can't find what you are looking for, we will happily put you in touch with a previous student so that you can discuss any aspect of our programmes.

So what are you waiting for!? If you're planning an overseas healthcare placement just give us a call or drop us an email. This time next year you could be telling us and the rest of the world about your amazing adventure!
