1. Eligibility
1.1 Entrants must be currently undertaking or have completed a placement facilitated by Work the World within the last 6 months.
1.2 By submitting a video, you confirm that you own all rights to the content and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
2. Video Submission Requirements
2.1 Each video submitted should be no longer than 60 seconds.
2.2 Each participant may submit up to three (3) videos, provided each submission contains new and original content.
2.3 Videos should be filmed in portrait format, suitable for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.
2.4 Videos should be submitted in their original format without any watermarks or branding from third-party applications, such as TikTok, Instagram or CapCut.
2.5 Videos should avoid the use of excessive filters or editing to maintain authenticity and clarity.
2.6 Videos including Work the World branded clothing (e.g., T-shirts, hoodies, or scrubs) are encouraged but not mandatory.
2.7 Videos must not contain copyrighted music, images, or any other intellectual property.
3. Consent and Ethical Considerations
3.1 Entrants must obtain consent from any individuals featured in their video(s).
3.2 Participants should aim to capture footage respectfully and ethically.
4. Content Guidelines
4.1 Submissions should be engaging, authentic, and reflective of the participant’s experience with Work the World.
5. Submission Process
5.1 Videos must be submitted via our website on the appropriate page, as specified by Work the World.
5.2 Submission for this video competition must be received by 31st August 2025; late entries will not be considered.
5.3 By submitting a video, entrants grant Work the World an immediate, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute the content for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes in any media format, regardless of whether the video wins the competition.
5.4 Work the World reserves the right to edit, adapt, or use any submitted content at its discretion while maintaining the integrity of the original message, regardless of whether the video wins the competition.
6. Judging and Prize Details
6.1 Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, and overall quality.
6.2 The winner will be selected by Work the World's head office staff.
6.3 The prize will be awarded and distributed by Work the World’s head office staff, with the winner notified no later than 5th September 2025.
6.4 The winner will be contacted via email no later than 5th September 2025 and must respond within seven (7) days to claim their prize.
6.5 All decisions made by Work the World regarding the competition are final. No appeals or negotiations will be entered into regarding the outcome.
6.6 If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within seven (7) days, Work the World reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6.7 Prize Details:
- One (1) full refund of the participant’s registration fee.
6.8 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for any alternative other than a full refund of the participant’s original registration fee.
6.9 The refund will be processed within 30 days of confirmation.
7. General Terms
7.1 Work the World reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms.
7.2 Work the World may, if necessary, update or amend these terms. If this happens, participants will be notified of any changes via direct email communication and/or social media announcements.
7.3 By entering, participants acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions in full.
7.4 Work the World assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, or misdirected submissions due to technical or other failures.
7.5 Participants agree that Work the World is not liable for any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from participation in the competition or use of the submitted content.
